Is it wisdom to tell a dreamer to be realistic?
I... am a dreamer.
I dream of big things.
Big things like students discovering freedom in Christ despite the voices and influences of nay-sayers.
...like my brothers and sister discovering the love of God.
...like holding orphaned children and wrapping them in love.
...like opening my own foundation
...like unconditional love & grace
So, what do you think?
Is it wisdom to tell a dreamer to be realistic?

Sometimes those who urge others to be "realistic" are just expressing their cynical side. . .
Besides which, how is it unrealistic to dream of all those things, when they have happened many times in the past? Wouldn't that make those dreams at least have the potential for being realized -- to be made real, which would mean they were realistic. . .
Granted, with one liners they don't sound too big, but perhaps if you knew details! ;)
Also, (on a much greater scale) I believe humans have this strange syndrome where they get all excited about the success stories but dont believe that others could possibly be correct and similarily experience success.
