Liberation Theology

I'm a big fan of the idea behind liberation theology. I do believe some of the more leniant interpretations of this school of thought give it a bad name, but Jesus as the hope of the oppressed is certainly Biblical.

I want to know your thoughts on the subject. Please share your understanding, confusions, problems and support for the school of thought, if you are willing. All are worthy of discussion.
