Today was a day of serious burns. A coworker burned both her hands on scalding water. And when I was mixing hot water and cleaner (near boiling) I managed to dumped a good portion of it on my hand. It hurt. I whimpered and bit my lip. It swelled.
I kept it on ice long enough to numb my hand and apparently that numbing has worn off...
It REALLY hurts. meh.
Guess who got her grad school stuff in the mail today?
And, Nistha seems to agree with my pastor that my "light" has returned... that's good... and humbling!
Just thought I'd end on a positive note. ;-)
